Wingmaster Flat-Coated Retrievers
began in 1976 when I (Maureen) obtained my first Flat-Coat and joined the Flat-Coated Retriever Society of America. After several years of competing in field, conformation, and obedience as a junior handler, I bred my first litter with CH Wyndhams Nickel CD WC. Throughout the years, I’ve continued to compete in field, obedience, and conformation. I’ve finished over 15 Champions as a breeder-owner-handler as well as Grand Champions. I’ve also earned many obedience titles, included multiple UDX’s.
Field and Agility Focus
Field work has always been my passion. I am proud to have bred and personally trained and handled my dogs in field to AKC and UKC hunting titles, including multiple Master Hunters and dogs qualifying for the Master National. I’ve competed heavily in agility as well, earning several Master Agility Champions and qualifying for the Agility National and Invitational. Flat-Coats are an integral part of our lives.
Our Lives Now
The dogs are dearly loved – so much so that we purchased a farm so that the dogs would have somewhere to run, swim and train! We are focused on sharing our lives with our dogs through training and competing. We also love to just hang out with the dogs and our dog friends, and all of our dogs love to lounge in the house after a day of work and play.
